If I could give a minus I would. 12-8-11 engagement 3/4 solitaire, wrap, and mens wedding ring bought. Left solitaire at store to be sized, picked ring up a week later, was called a week after that to bring ring back in to check certificate, sent wrap, solitaire in to be solder together and wrap to be sized. Got ring back, not solder and solitaire in different setting. Took ring back to store on 1-2-12, found out the solitaire we bought (3/4 carat) was replaced with a 1 carat, sized, diamond switched when they checked certificate, no one told us anything about the mix up. Brought rings back, had to pay $400 because of them being resized and dipped AND to replace a certificate that we never did get! Only good thing was Assistant Manager Tiffany, she did all she could. CEO of company said could not sell ring without certificate, I believe that, doesn't mean the employee has to remember to give it to you though. Just a guess, but I do not think the guy retiring would like this very much. I am writing this as the mother of the bride. Store in Lincoln, Ne.

Brodkeys WestroadsI bought a $400 necklace from there and it broke then waited a month for them to get me a new one and 2 days later it broke. the cross for the chain i bought there broke and had to get a new one.i also bought a very expensive ring from there and it broke 3 times and i had to pay $100-$300 each time to get it fixed. the service is horrible every time i go there and we were getting my engagement ring there until my necklace broke 2 days after i got it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!!!THEIR JEWELRY IS JUNK AND WILL BREAK ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my 3.04 carat engagement band and brodkey's at valley west. They had fantastic service and sucked us in. Everything was good until my insurance company requested an appraisal for antying over 5k. After I got looking at my diamonds more and more I noticed flaws in the main diamonds.. ones that you can actually see from the naked eye. I called and brought it in. One of the managers told us that it is carbon and all diamonds are like that. My ring is ceretified. The retail price was 10k. We got it for 5,800. This big of a purchase I am going to worry about. After him telling us to get it appraised, we left and went to Joseph's, they couldn't give me an estimate but he did have me look under the scope and there is more then just the one flaw that I noticed. There are several. I took it back to Brodkey's and asked for an extension on my 30 day poilcy so I can get it appraised. NOPE, THEY WOULDN'T BUDGE. They stated if I get it appraised and it doesn't meet what we paid for it then to bring it back in and they could have it appraised through their appraisal guy and get it for insurance purposes.. wth???NEVER EVER WILL I WALK IN TO THAT STORE. My husband and I have purchased an engagement ring, wedding bands and a necklace from Brodkey's and we will probably continue to purchase all of the jewelry we buy throughout our lives from this store. We are on a first-name basis with several employees and always end up chit-chatting for quite a while when we go in.I took my soldered rings back in after the wedding because I didn't feel they were quite bonded tightly enough, and they sent it in and had it fixed the very next day. Excellent products, quick turn-around, friendly staff, and an overall great experience for us!

The staff was very friendly and remembered me and my husband everytime we went into the store. They worked with him to pick out the ring he wanted, then worked with both of us to choose wedding bands, describing each one and telling us about them. Every time we go in, they polish our rings and check the settings for free. This was a very helpful staff!

I really felt that out of all the jewerly vendors that we visited we really recieved the best business from Brodkey's. They treated us very well and several of the employees remember us my name when we come in to have my rings cleaned. Not only do they remember our names, but they remember our stories. I love walking in to the store, because they don't treat us like customers - they treat us like friends. We have purchased a couple other pieces of jewelry from them, and I would most certainly recommend them to any friend who was looking for a jewelry vendor.
