Barattas

We worked with Barattas becuase the venue we wanted to use exclusively uses them as a catering company. We went to a tasting and everythign was very good. We worked with Lora and she was very helpful in the planning and flexible with costs. It seemed it would work out even though we were pretty much forced into working with them. Apparently the company isnt too great at giving you the food you ordered & have a signed contract to since 44 of my guests went without part of the meal they were supposed to get. They were not very good at serving the dinner & dessert to the guests & even our headtable needed water refills which we never got. My mother went to talk to Lora about guests not getting the correct meal which we had paid for & she replied very rudely. We were able to work out a refund agreement which was less than we felt was 100% fair. If i had to redo my reception i would have chosen a place where i was not forced to work with Barattas- I wasnt impressed and neither were my guests with the service they receieved from their wait staff.

They did a great job! Very proffessional, food was worth the $$$!

This dinner was amazing but costly. I was dissapointed at my reception because there was an appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip) that I had been looking forward to for months. I only got a little bit of it and when I asked for more it was gone. I figured for a $4,000 dinner that I would get several servings of it since I told them ahead of time that that's what I wanted for my main course. Not a big deal but I just didn't feel like I got any special treatment being the bride. A few times it took them several days to get back to us when we needed something. It was an amazing dinner but I would have backed out if I wasn't required to use them through the ceremony/reception venue. I would love to go there for dinner but will not use them to cater an event again.

Oh my gosh! I cannot say enough about Baratta's!! They were so wonderful. When our wedding was canceled and then rescheduled, they weren't able to give us a refund on our $500 deposit, which we were well aware of, but Lora Simpson called me and we were able to work it out so that I was able to bring my new husband, mother in law, mother, our two best friends, their two children and our four children in house for dinner after the wedding, and we were given a $200 credit to use towards our meal! I was so happy they were able to do that for us, because I know that typically they wouldn't have, and I feel that Lora bent over backwards to work this out for us. The food was outstanding, the service was awesome, the set up was beautiful...I just can't stop gushing about Baratta's. Come to think of it, I need to write them a thank you note!

We really enjoyed Barattas! All of our guests enjoyed their meal, people even talked about the food after the wedding. Great company to work with!!
