Absolute Music DJ Service

My husband and I knew we wanted Steve to be the DJ at our daughter's wedding after attending a friend's wedding where he was the DJ there. Steve makes the reception so much fun, and I received many compliments about him. I would highly recommend Absolute Music DJ Service.

The owner who had originally met with us, did all the communication, and said he would be the one at our wedding ended up sending a sick DJ (whom we had never met) so he could stay home to watch a football game. Half of the wedding party's names were pronounced incorrectly- after having had practiced them several times. Even the bride's name was mispronounced. The DJ also announced to the reception that he had a headache and wasn't feeling well. The DJ didn't read the crowd well and didn't play music that would have made it a party. After some of the guests complained about the borish music ( a couple of times) it livened up a bit. But it shouldn't be necessary to have to complain for things to liven up- it's a wedding reception! We had people on the dance floor ready to have fun- we just were missing the DJ who wanted to have fun. This DJ service is a bit more pricey than some others- which is fine- if they are good. We aren't even overly picky- we just wanted fun music played. We wish we had saved our money and just used an ipod or a less expensive DJ- You don't always get what you pay for. It's unfortunate that this company would send a sick DJ who didn't want to be there on one of the most important days for us- we shouldn't have had to suffer b/c the DJ was sick. Disappointing.

DJ asked my guests to help tear down the head table! He played all of the songs that I specifically listed as "do not play." The owner of the company called my cell phone when I was about to walk down the aisle and asked what we wanted for our first dance song? I was about to scream! I specifically gave them a worksheet of step by step instructions for the night and they lost them. They then call me the day of my wedding to get the info. Would highly urge anyone to look elsewhere for a DJ.

LOVED this DJ. I didn't know anything about what music I needed to choose or what songs I wanted and they helped me every step of the way. I had basically told them to choose a lot of the music themselves and trusted them. He even called me the night before to make sure what he chose was good. I was too laid back and he helped me make the decisions that needed to me made. He even played clips on the phone to make sure I liked what would be played. It was a great service for the price because I used him for the ceremony music and reception which were at 2 different sites and he only charged me a small fee for 2 set ups. --Highly recommend
